Xantrex launches social, Web marketing initiatives

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Xantrex Technology USA Inc., a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, recently announced the launch of new social media and Web-based marketing initiatives, according to a recent press release from the company.
Along with Xantrex.com, the company’s comprehensive website introduced last quarter, the company has produced two new branded channels on YouTube and Twitter and e-newsletters for its mobile market segments including marine, RV and commercial trucking.
“We believe that social marketing clearly affords Xantrex the opportunity to further build and develop relationships with our clients including OEMs, dealers and distributors, installers, and end users,” said Richard Gaudet, general manager of Xantrex, in the release. “Our marketing team is looking far beyond the scope of traditional marketing to embrace the latest in online technology which is critical in today’s marketing mix. Our goal is simple: to pro-actively connect and engage with our customers, while keeping them informed about our company, its various products, services and activities.”
The Xantrex YouTube Channel will include product information and training videos. The company’s Twitter account will be used to inform and educate followers about the Xantrex’s projects, products, and special events, as well as provides breaking and relevant industry news.
