Houseboats website adds social networking
LODI, Calif. – The website houseboats.com was recently redesigned with the goal of reaching a broader audience of houseboat enthusiasts and first-time houseboaters, according to a release from the site.
The new houseboats.com features expanded content and streaming media, houseboat news and lake information, a boat show calendar, and social media portals.
“We are creating a more friendly ‘social networking’ platform,” Yvonne Cantrell, director of marketing for houseboats.com, said in the release. “We are especially excited about a smart phone friendly version that cell phone users will highly appreciate.”
The houseboats.com website offers virtual houseboat tours along with numerous YouTube videos and blogs. By the summer of 2011, customers will be able to upload their own videos and stories directly onto the site.
