Organizers say Regulator Marine University a success

EDENTON, N.C. — Joan C. Maxwell, president of Regulator Marine, announced that Regulator’s annual Regulator Marine University was a success, according to a recent release from the company.
 
Created in 2000, the University equips both domestic and international sales staff with
valuable selling tools and product knowledge.
 
Guest speakers at the event included Thom Dammrich, president of NMMA, Valerie Ziebron, owner of VRZ Consulting and Yamaha’s Jonathon Burns.
 
Winners of Regulator awards included Oyster Harbors Marine of Osterville, Massachusetts for 2010 Dealer of the Year, and Bob Scott of Oyster Harbors Marine for salesperson of the Year. Regional Salesperson of the Year winners are Carl Beale, Mid-Atlantic, Blue Water Yacht Sales, Hampton, VA; South Eastern, Dan Hunt, Boat World of Florida, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
 
Joan Maxwell said in the release, “After a decade of hosting the annual Regulator Marine University, enthusiasm for our quality standards and the innovation in design across our product lines has never been greater. Our products are fresh, while continuing to maintain the Regulator tradition in providing the offshore enthusiast the ‘legendary Regulator
ride’. All attendees were excited about our 2011 Model Year offerings and
especially the recent addition to our line, the all new 28 FS.”
 
All event attendees were awarded a formal “Bachelor of Science in Regulator
Product Knowledge.”
