Mercury Marine’s 5 & Drive Sales event returns
FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Mercury Marine has reintroduced its 5 & Drive Sales event with additional options and flexibility, it reported in a recent statement.
Through the promotion, consumers who buy a Mercury outboard or OptiMax engine are eligible to receive two additional years of factory-backed protection free of charge or up to a $1,000 cash-back rebate. Outboard engines 2.5hp and above and every OptiMax engine – including the Pro XS line – are eligible for the promotion. Engines must be purchased between Oct. 4 and Nov. 30 and be warranty-eligible by Dec. 15.
Consumers who choose Product Protection Gold Coverage will receive a total of five years of factory-backed coverage. Consumers who select the cash-back rebate will receive a rebate amount dependent on the engine type and size purchased.
Engine rebates for FourStrokes are: 2.5-30hp engines – $40 rebate; 40- – $50 rebate; 75-115hp – $200 rebate; 150-200hp – $350 rebate; 225-300hp – $1,000 rebate. OptiMax purchases will qualify for a $130 rebate for 75-115hp engines and a $350 rebate for 125-250hp engines.
