Fall Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo hosts 3,225 attendees

MANASQUAN, N.J. — This year’s Fall Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo hosted 3,225 attendees, double the number from last year, according to a release from event organizers.

The Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expos are held in the spring and the fall. The recent fall event also showed a 16 percent increase over the spring show that was held in May in the same location.

The second annual Fall Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo was held Sept. 24-26 at First Energy Park in Lakewood, N.J. The event was organized by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, a non-profit organization comprised of over 300 recreational marine businesses.

The boating sales event focuses on providing affordability and accessibility for both consumers and exhibitors by offering a low cost to exhibit and attend. The show featured new and pre-owned boats including 2011 models, engines, and accessories for sale by local marine retailers.

The show has grown in size with boats on display in 58,000 square feet of the stadium with vendors located outside and inside the lot.

“We are very excited that the show is growing in both attendance and dealer participation. The feedback that we have received so far has been fantastic. Consumers loved the low cost to attend and many of the exhibitors were pleased with their sales and leads from the show,” said Melissa Danko, executive director of MTA/NJ, in a recent press release from the organization.
