For the third year in a row, Payne Marine, LTD, a Scout Boats international dealer located in Pointe Au Baril, Ontario, Canada, has been recognized by the company for its customer service rating over the past 12 months. “Payne Marine and its staff earned yet another perfect 100 perfect CSI rating from its customers, and we are proud to honor this hard working dealer,” Scout National/International Sales Manager Alan Lang said in a release. “Payne Marine reflects our corporate mission of the importance of delivering outstanding customer service.”
The International Marina Institute (IMI), a subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), has released its latest 18-month training and events catalog. The 2010–2011 catalog features dates and descriptions for IMI’s programs including “Intermediate Marina Management” and “Advanced Marina Management” as well as such upcoming IMI events as the IMI’s Fall Conference and 5th annual Study tour and the International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC).
TowBoatUS Shinnecock/Moriches, N.Y., has new owners, according to a release. William and Joanne Jayne have purchased the business from Bob Jacoby, who will remain with the company as a hired captain. TowBoatUS Shinnecock/Moriches has two locations. The Shinnecock port is located at Hampton Boat Works in Hampton Bay. The Moriches port is located at Moriches Bay Marina in Mastic Beach, which the Jaynes also own. “Although we’ve had TowBoatUS located in our marina for the last four years, we are excited to call it ‘our own’ and add it to the list of services we offer local boaters and anglers,” Joanne Jayne said in the release.
