HAMPSHIRE, United Kingdom — Superyacht builder Palmer Johnson has closed its Hampshire, U.K., operation, according to a report from the local Daily Echo newspaper. The move will cost 110 jobs.
The paper also reports that the U.S. firm’s plans to build a world-class boatyard nearby in Southampton, creating 800 jobs, are now in doubt.
