API Marine forms new spin-off company
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — API Marine has spun off assets it purchased last year into a new company called “Hydradynamic Systems Inc.,” according to a release from API.
In May 2009, API, a 46-year-old manufacturing company, acquired the assets and intellectual property of Advanced Hydraulic Systems LLC, formerly of Winchester, Ky. During the past 12 months, Advance Hydraulics’ products, technology and engineering have been incorporated into API Marine’s facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Now, those assets will form the basis of Hydradynamic Systems, which will serve the industrial, marine and medical industries.
The new company will focus on miniature hydraulic systems incorporating fluid power, motion control and actuation with custom engineered solutions to meet the customer’s specific needs.
