JACKSON, Mich. — MarineDealerTrader.com has been awarded trademark rights on its Boat Locator retail inventory search system, according to a release from the company.
Boat Locator is a tool that can be deployed on a manufacturer’s website that gives retail consumers the ability to search a dealer’s inventory by model within a zip code range. Boat Locator also offers dealers and manufacturers a lead management tool and consumers can also request an insurance quote on the unit of interest. In the future, the company says consumers will also be able to request financing on the unit.
