CHESAPEAKE CITY, Md. — Aqua Marine Partners, which owns and operates a number of U.S. marinas, has signed an agreement to operate two Maryland marinas, according to a release from the company.
The marinas were recently sold to CNL Lifestyle Properties by Covenant Cove Marine.
Covenant will stay on as the exclusive sales and service provider to the facilities. The marinas are Bohemia Vista Yacht Basin and Hack’s Point Marina, which are located less than two miles apart by water. Together, the two marinas have 228 wet slips.
Kurt Sarac, founder and CEO of Covenant Cove Marine, said the transaction is the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship between his company and Aqua Marine Partners.
“CNL Lifestyle Properties and Aqua Marine Partners exceeded our expectations and we are delighted to announce this strategic alliance and look forward to exploring additional growth opportunities in the marine business together,” Sarac said in the release.
