ALGONAC, Mich. — Sunsation Powerboats says it has seen preproduction sales higher than at any time in the history of the company with the release of its new 36’ Dominator.
“It’s unbelievable,” Joe Schaldenbrand, Vice President Sales and Marketing, said in a statement. “Even now after our first delivery to Captain’s Marina in Destin, Florida, the orders are pouring in … that’s what we had hoped for.”
Sunsation Boats was founded by Wayne and Joe Schaldenbrand in Algonac in the early 1980s.
“The demand on the Dominator, although surprising in a tough boat buying economy, really kind of makes sense.” Joe Schaldenbrand said. “With several hundred 32’ Dominator customers we feel this is the next logical step in both size and price. The 36’ is offered with either side-by-side or staggered configuration allows the customer the flexibility to have a larger cockpit or additional performance.”
