POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — SunDance Marine has opened a new yacht center in Pompano Beach, President Joe Clawges reported in a statement Monday.
The new center will be located at Hidden Harbor Marina and be called SunDance Marine Yacht Center at Hidden Harbor.
“Due to the increase in service customers here in South Florida, it has become necessary to expand our service capabilities to meet the demand,” Clawges said.
Randy Carter, service manager for SunDance Marine, said the company didn’t formerly have the facilities or trained personnel to handle hundreds of requests from new customers to service their vessels.
“In order to meet this demand, we knew we needed to add highly qualified technicians and a location that would allow us to expand our capabilities while having great access for our customers,” Carter said.
The facility boasts a 75-ton hoist and will be able to accommodate vessels up to 80 feet in length.
Mitch Milesi, vice president of SunDance, attributes the company’s reputation for service for its growth.
“We’ve always been a service oriented company,” Milesi said. “And our reputation of providing excellent service at a fair price is really driving this growth.”
