Inboard Online, a Web site devoted exclusively to inboard boaters, has been launched this week at www.inboardonline.com. The thousands of brand name parts available include exhaust manifolds, impellers, propellers, boat motors, tower speakers, wake wraps and more. In addition, the site offers consumers 31 days to return their purchases, and there are no restocking fees. The site also offers how-to content from simple instruction to more advanced issues to help consumers keep their inboard engine running like new, more efficiently and for less money.
The National Marine Manufacturers Association has added an informal discussion with the U.S. Environmental Protection Administration and the U.S. Coast Guard on the implementation the Clean Boating Act to its American Boating Congress agenda. From March 28 through June 20, BRP will be offering consumers across the Sunbelt states the opportunity to experience its watercraft braking technology at Sea-Doo iControl Test Ride Tour events. The Sea-Doo iControl Test Ride Tour will coincide with other PWC and boating related events including poker runs, boat/PWC shows, river runs, and an on-water Easter Egg Hunt. These on-water test ride events are open to the boating public and are managed by the Sea-Doo iControl Team and partnering, authorized Sea-Doo watercraft dealers. Events in Houston, Texas; San Diego, Calif.; Los Angeles, Calif.; and Lake Havasu City, Ariz. are being planned in the time frame of May 15 to June 19. Marinas International has assumed the management of Marina Del Sol, located close to Houston, Texas. The marina has 300 wet slips and a 200-dry-stack barn located on Clear Lake, Houston, Texas. Marshall Funk, one of the founders and managing partners at Marinas International, said his company is managing the marina for an investment bank. “Our management team will be providing operational oversight, accounting and also construction management as we rebuild many of the docks that were recently damaged from hurricanes last season,” he explained. “It is our goal to assist ownership in repositioning Marina Del Sol for eventual sale in perhaps two years.”

Promotional items include can holders, t-shirts, buttons, balloons, coloring books, key chains, plastic cups, tote bags and more. The items come with the National Marina Day and Association of Marina Industries logos, but marinas may add their own logos as well.
