GREENWICH, Conn. — In what has become a growing trend in recent years, seven of Connecticut’s dealers have joined to host the Third Annual Greenwich In-Water Boat Show on April 24-25 in Greenwich, the group reported in a recent statement.
The event will be held at Greenwich Water Club, and there is no charge to attend. All of the boats will be displayed in the water, and customers are invited to pick, drive and compare models.
The boat show is a collaborative effort by All Seasons Marine Works, Beacon Point Marine, Catalano and Sons, Diamond Marine, Harborside Yacht Sales, MarineMax and Norwest Marine. The group said after two successful years, it plans to make the show a regularly scheduled event each spring fro many years to come.
Power boat manufacturers that will be represented at the show include Azimut Yachts, Boston Whaler, Bristol Harbor, Chaparral, Chris Craft, Everglades, Grady White, Hydra Sport, Parker, Meridian Yachts, Monterey, Robalo, Sailfish, Sea Fox, Sea Ray, Sea Hunt and Steigercraft. More than 80 boats ranging from 22 to 52 feet in length will be available, including both new and pre-owned brokerage boats.
Earlier this week, Boating Industry reported that a separate group of Connecticut yacht brokers have formed the First Annual Spring Boat Show, which is scheduled to take place April 23-25 in Essex.
