Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
BENTON, Ill. — Independent Boat Builders, Inc. (IBBI) presented awards at its annual purchasing conference last week in St. Louis, according to a release from the company.
IBBI honored Marine Fasteners, Piedmont Plastics, and Reichhold as Suppliers of the Year. The company said those companies were chosen on the basis of a survey completed by IBBI members, rating suppliers in six key categories: product quality, customer service, delivery, technical service, accurate invoicing and warranty administration.
“These three suppliers have provided outstanding service to our membership over the last year,” IBBI Controller Jodi Sanders said in the release. “It is an honor for us to be able to recognize them as our Suppliers of the Year. All of our sponsored suppliers show tremendous dedication to our membership, and it was a close vote to determine the top three that truly went above and beyond.”
IBBI also handed out Outstanding Partner Awards to companies that narrowly missed out on the top awards. Those recipients were: CH Robinson, CPS Distributors, Foam Supplies and MPI.
New IBBI supplier, Fin-Addict Marine, received the honor of being named the Outstanding New Supplier, for receiving near perfect scores after being with our group for less than a year.
