AOC reports materials price increase
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — AOC, LLC is increasing prices for all products, including polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, gel coats and colorants, according to a release from the company.
The increase is in the amount of 5 cents per pound for all shipments within the United States and Canada. The implementation date for the increase is March 1.
“Continued cost pressures for energy and feedstock materials result in significant price increases for the raw materials used in AOC products,” the company said in the release. “Recent price increases for benzene, ethylene, propylene, butane and mixed xylenes, among others, are responsible for the increase. Continued increases for these raw materials are forecasted to continue during the next few months.”
