FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Boat builder Cypress Cay has launched an integrated social media program intended to further strengthen its ties with customers and provide an online forum where pontoon owners can share memories and exchange ideas, boating tips and resources, the company reported in a statement yesterday. The program is also a method for the company to collect feedback on its products.
“When launching a new model, we not only turn to our engineers and designers for ideas and direction, but we also involve our toughest critics out there, our Cypress Cay owners and dealers,” said Brad Anderson, general manager. “We have gained valuable insight by listening to our customers, and as a result we’ve implemented a number of significant design changes to further enhance the pontoon lifestyle. Our social media program further enables us to engage and interact with our customers as well as potential buyers more often.”
Cypress Cay’s new program includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Flickr.
