VONORE, Tenn. — About 150 employees have been called back to work at Sea Ray Boats plants in East Tennessee this month, according to a report from the Knoxville News Sentinel.
Brunswick spokesman Dan Kubera told the paper that 90-95 workers have been recalled at a Sea Ray plant in East Knox County and 50-55 have been called back at another plant in Vonore. Kubera said no further call-backs are planned at this time.
“I don’t want to give any false hopes that this is going to be any sort of snap-back bounce,” Kubera told the paper, “this is going to be a slow recovery.”
