Brunswick opens up access to many Dealer Advantage services

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Brunswick Corp. (NYSE: BC) is making its Dealer Advantage Gold- and Platinum-level dealer business services available to all of those dealers selling either Brunswick brand boats or Mercury Marine engines for the first time ever, the company reported in a recent release. The company’s Open Access promotion is effective from Jan. 1 through June 30.

Previously, Gold- and Platinum-level programs were only open to dealers with a large share of sales in Brunswick marine products. Now, Gold and Platinum services are open to all Brunswick marine dealers, and during this period, eligibility is not determined by volume, according to Brunswick.

“Dealer Advantage is an important way for us to help our outstanding dealers succeed, so we are pleased to be able to offer everyone our premium-level programs,” said Brunswick Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dustan E. McCoy. “The broad menu of business services helps dealers attract more retail customers, retain valued employees, enhance operations and reduce expenses. In fact, Dealer Advantage preferred rates have already saved our marine dealers more than $7 million. Open Access will broaden the impact.”

The Gold and Platinum programs now open to all boat and engine dealers are AdvantageCare healthcare, Aetna dental and vision, Arthur Gallagher business insurance, AXA group retirement plans, AXA succession plans, ADP payroll and tax administration plus discounts on Brunswick Billiards and Life Fitness product, and even General Motors automobiles for the dealership and its employees.

Open Access also offers Platinum-level discounts to all boat and engine dealers on these Silver-level programs: ChannelBlade Web site marketing services, Grubb & Ellis real estate services, online boat listings and leads, Spader Business Management 20 Groups and US Bank credit card processing. Further, as Open Access makes these service levels available to all dealers, current Gold and Platinum dealers may see expanded services and more discounts, made possible by broader and increased participation levels, the company stated.

Every Brunswick marine dealership in good standing can participate – this includes dealers who carry Brunswick boats, Mercury Marine engines, Brunswick marine parts and accessories, and Mercury Marine service only dealers.
