IBBI elects new chairman
BENTON, Ill. – Rick Tinker of Skier’s Choice is the newly elected chairman of the IBBI (Independent Boat Builders, Inc.) Board of Directors, the group reported in a recent statement. He fills the seat of retiring chairman, Owen Maxwell of Regulator Marine.
The IBBI Board includes JP Hoyer of Bennington Marine, Joe Bryant of Bryant Boats, Steve Heese of Chris-Craft, Peter Truslow of EdgeWater, Scott Deal of Maverick, Owen Maxwell of Regulator, and Rick Tinker of Skier’s Choice.
“We are very fortunate to have such qualified people on our board,” said IBBI President Tom Broy. “We look forward to working with Rick Tinker and the rest of the directors to help guide our organization well into the future.”
IBBI recently held its’ 20th annual shareholders meeting by webinar. Member-owners were updated on various projects as well as goals and objectives for IBBI for the future. The next event for IBBI will be the annual Purchasing Meeting and Vendor Expo in March 2010, according to the group.
