New exhibitors expected at IMBC

WARREN, R.I. — Of the nearly 120 companies registered to exhibit at the 2010 International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC), Jan. 27–29 in Tampa, Fla., 23 are new to the show, IMBC producers reported in a recent statement.

“By attracting this many new and returning companies, IMBC has established itself as the place to meet critical decision makers,” said Jim Frye, president and chair of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), IMBC’s main producer. “We view it as a positive indicator after what has been a challenging year for many in our industry.”

Formed in 2002 as the National Marina & Boatyard Conference, IMBC is currently the only show catered specifically to marina owners, managers, and staff as well as boat builders, repairers, and service professionals. For more information, visit www.marinaassociation.org/imbc.
