Interest from boat builders growing

With 10 boat builders already signed on to exhibit at the 2009 Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, interest from other manufacturers continues to grow. These exhibiting builders make up more than 55 percent of the total sold exhibit space for this year’s event to date.
“These boat builders are looking at the MDCE the same way dealers are — as an opportunity to position themselves for growth as we begin coming out of this downturn,” says Kathy Johnson, MDCE national sales manager. “Some are looking to sign new dealers to their network. Others are simply looking to support the marine dealer body. And all of them see the opportunity and the value in networking with the best dealers in the market.”
