IGY adds Newport Yacht Club & Marina to its portfolio
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Island Global Yachting (IGY), an owner, developer and manager of marinas and yachting lifestyle destinations, has added Newport Yacht Club & Marina to its global marina portfolio, the company reported in a recent statement.
Situated on New York Harbor in Jersey City, N.J., directly across the Hudson River from downtown Manhattan, Newport Yacht Club & Marina offers 154 berths – including 12 megayacht berths. Features of the marina include: inner basin parallel docks for superyachts; transient finger slips for vessels up to 60 feet; 30-, 50- and 100-amp single-phase and 100-amp three-phase power; water, cable and telephone hookups; indoor parking; bathrooms, showers and laundry; 24-hour dock and perimeter security with close circuit cameras for monitoring and taping; in-water winter storage; on site PATH subway train; and a helipad. In addition, Newport Yacht Club & Marina offers numerous on-site restaurants, two on-site hotels, a 12-screen movie theater and nearly 200 on-site stores, including 4 department stores.
