Deadline for green product contest is Nov. 1
WATSONVILLE, Calif. – West Marine sent out a final call for entries for its “Green Product of the Year” award this week. All entries must be received by West Marine by Nov. 1, according to a release from West Marine.
The winner of the contest will be awarded a $10,000 prize at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show. Individuals, manufacturers, distributors and/or inventors are invited to participate.
Judging criteria for the contest includes eco-effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, applicability and breadth of market impact, degree of innovation and originality, and compliance with official rules.
