Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
WILLIAMS BAY, Wis. — Gage Marine of Williams Bay bought Summerset Marine of Delavan, Wis., and will run the dealership under the Gage name, according to a report in the Business Journal of Milwaukee.
Gage purchased Summerset Marine for an undisclosed amount from Larry Chapman, who the Business Journal reports will continue to operate Summerset Marine locations in Nashotah and Eagle, Wis.
The Delavan location includes Bennington and MasterCraft boats. The Williams Bay store carries Monterey, Boston Whaler and custom built Gage-Hacker wooden boats.
Bill Gage, president of Gage Marine, said the second location increases his company’s overall space by nearly 50 percent.
