WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Yachtcouncil.com is launching a display advertising program for its Web site, the company said in a release. In addition to the ad program, the site says it will also add a new user tracking system.
Yachtcouncil will spend the month of August developing and testing the system, including testing different formats of digital ads, and the system will officially launch in September. Brands such as Sea Ray, Interlux and Awlgrip are participating in the test program along with their agencies, Starboard Media and JWI Advertising.
Dennis O’Neill, former group publisher of Power & Motoryacht and SAIL magazines has joined digital listings firm Marine Solutions and is heading up the display advertising program as well as marketing for www.Yachtcouncil.com.
“Dennis’ record of success in advertising sales and client marketing in the marine industry is second to none,” Steve Myers, President of Marine Solutions, said in the release. “He also brings to Marine Solutions, experience in digital video and advertiser loyalty programs which will be added to our offerings in the near future.”
