VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Nautic Global Group (NGG) has officially endorsed Channel Blade’s online products for its dealers, Channel Blade reported in a release today. Effective immediately, NGG will reimburse dealers through Flex Funds — its co-op program — for purchases of ARI/Channel Blade’s technology.
The announcement came after NGG’s annual dealer meeting, which included a presentation from Channel Blade called, “The Internet Doesn’t Sell Boats, Good Dealers Do,” in which Channel Blade shared lead management best practices and announced the results of a mystery shop conducted for NGG.
“Prior to the dealer meeting, Channel Blade had hired a third-party to conduct a mystery shop for all NGG dealers,” Chuck Lewis, founder of Channel Blade, said in the release. “The results were stronger than average, but showed room for improvement when it comes to managing leads effectively. Each lead represents an opportunity to sell a boat, and we need dealers to respond 100 percent of the time and immediately.”
NGG said it is particularly interested in Channel Blade’s lead management tool Footsteps.
“We’re highly focused on providing more and better leads to our dealers,” Steve Tadd, marketing director at NGG, said in the release. “It is critical that they capitalize on tools like Footsteps to ensure that every lead is systematically handled promptly and properly, with quick and effective follow-up and nurture throughout the buying process.”
Nautic Global Group is the parent company of Godfrey Marine and Rinker Boats.
