ELKHART, Ind. – Nautic Global Group (NGG), parent company of Godfrey Marine and Rinker Boats, attracted nearly 300 dealers for what it is calling “a very successful dealer meeting” at its headquarters facility and plants in Elkhart, Ind., the company reported in a statement this morning.
The event included plant tours, seminars, boat demonstrations and a business meeting. More than 60 boats were on display for the dealers who attended the event to board and review, according to the company.
Nautic Global Group said it has continued to invest in product development and dealer programs and incentives.
“The scope of product development this year impressed most of our dealers,” said Chief Sales Officer Rick Gasaway, “And this year we addressed many of the issues facing all marine dealers head on – with customized, focused and flexible dealer programs, with today’s market in mind.”
NGG management decided to host the dealer meeting at their own facility to reduce costs, but also to show off their state of the art manufacturing facility, the company stated.
“Our dealers told us they learned more and enjoyed themselves more in this relaxed setting than at other past dealer meeting venues,” said Chief Executive Officer Bob Moran. “We’re very lucky to have one of the nicest facilities in the marine industry.”
“This is an exciting time for our company,” added Gasaway. “We’ve focused on differentiation and positioning our product to help our dealers win in their markets, and it was very clear that our dealers like where we’re headed.”
