Crownline assets scheduled to be auctioned off

CHICAGO, Ill. – A classified advertisement has been posted with the Chicago Tribune, announcing the scheduling of an auction of the assets of Crownline Boats on Aug. 7 at 10 am.

“John C. Wheeler, not individually, but solely in his capacity as Assignee for the benefit of creditors of Crownline Boats, Inc. and its affiliate (‘Crownline’), intends to sell his right, title and interest, if any, in all of the assets of Crownline on an ‘as is’, ‘where is’ basis,” the advertisement states.

The assets to be sold include, but are not limited to, all of Crownline’s machinery, equipment, tooling, fixtures, molds, furniture, intellectual property, computer equipment, operating systems, accounts receivable, raw and finished goods inventory and customer information, according to the advertisement.

The sale will take place at the office of Proskauer Rose, LLP, located at 70 W. Madison Street, Suite 3800, Chicago, Illinois 60602.

The advertisement directs any party interested in bidding on these assets and/or reviewing the assets to be sold and the terms of the sale to contact George Shoup or John Wheeler of Development Specialists, Inc. It also warns that this sale may be continued to a later date without further notice.
