IBEX 2009 to offer 50 technical seminars
BROOKLIN, Maine — The seminar series offered at this year’s International Boatbuilder Exposition & Conference (IBEX) will include 50 sessions in nine professional tracks, which represents “the most intensive seminar series ever,” according to IBEX show co-director and Professional Boatbuilder magazine publisher Carl Cramer.
“All of today’s advanced boatbuilding technologies are covered and will be presented by more than 100 marine industry professionals who lend their expertise and experience as IBEX speakers,” he said in a recent statement.
The IBEX 2009 technical seminar program is organized and produced by Professional Boatbuilder magazine, American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA), Marine Industry Training and Education Council (MITEC) and National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). Show dates are October 12-14, Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, Fla. Complete information about the new IBEX 2009 seminar series and registration is now available online at www.ibexshow.com.
“Now more than ever, education is a vital component to our industry’s ability to grow and flourish,” said Cramer. “How a company responds to the pressures of our economic environment will define how they emerge. This year’s IBEX seminars will allow a company the opportunity to explore alternatives to the ways in which our industry ‘used to do’ business.”
In conjunction with the conference series, IBEX 2009 will host more than 500 exhibitors in three exhibit halls. IBEX also offers a Composite Pavilion, live outdoor demonstrations, and 20 FREE exhibitor workshops.
