Noel Osborne Biographical Information

Noel Osborne’s professional career began in the aerospace and defense industry where he transitioned from engineering to marketing and eventually became director of marketing for the aerospace and defense group of a Fortune 500 company.
He opened his first boat store, Osborne Boat Sales, in 1971 in York, Penn. His company grew to a total of five locations in the Pennsylvania and Maryland market areas. At Osborne Boat sales Noel, utilizing many of the management techniques he learned in aerospace, developed dealer management programs that are still in existence today. In 1990 Noel acquired Naples Boat Mart in Naples, Fla., and grew it into one of the largest dealerships in the area.
In 1998 Noel sold Naples Boat Mart and started Osborne and Associates, which provides consulting services to the recreational industry. He is perhaps best known for his participation in Yamaha Marine’s Performance 500 and Yamaha Symposium series of dealership training programs. He has provided training for Yamaha Marine USA, Yamaha Canada, Cobalt Boats, Wellcraft Marine, Hydrasports, Century, Cobia, and Correct Craft as well as a significant number of individual marine dealerships. He is also a contributing writer to a number of industry magazines, including Boating Industry.
