CCP increases composite products prices

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cook Composites and Polymers (CCP) has instituted a $.05 per pound price increase for all unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins, gel coats and Thermaclean products effective for shipments made on or after July 6, the company reported in a recent statement.

“In the past few months, crude oil has escalated rapidly leading to price increases in key raw materials,” the company said in the statement. “As always, every effort is being investigated relative to cost containment and uninterrupted supply. We acknowledge the impact these costs have on our customers and appreciate your support, which allows CCP the opportunity to meet your needs with quality and innovative products.”
