Florida yacht brokerage expands with California office
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Denison Yacht Sales, a full-service yacht brokerage and charter firm based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has opened a new office in the Fisherman’s Village section of Marina del Rey, Calif., amid more than 5,000 boat slips, it reported in a recent statement. The new office provides Denison’s full range of services.
“This is a great opportunity for us to work more closely with a significant portion of our client base and to continue to grow the base of knowledge and talent associated with Denison Yacht Sales,” said Bob Denison, president of Denison Yacht Sales.
The new location is part of an overall strategy to position the company for greater market share as the economy begins to emerge from the current downturn, according to Denison Yacht Sales.
“I see good potential for medium- and long-term growth in the yacht brokerage industry for those who can embrace change and shed old ways of doing business,” said Denison.
The Marina Del Rey office includes five licensed and bonded brokers: Nereus Dastur, Bob Leslie, Gordon Passey, Bill Peterson and Paul Swanlund. “We have a very strong team in place, with extensive experience and contacts throughout the West Coast,” concluded Denison.
