HydroHoist opens sixth factory-owned warehouse
CLAREMORE, Okla. — HydroHoist Marine Group Inc., a builder of hydro-pneumatic boatlifts, recently opened a warehouse in Discovery Bay, Calif., the company reported this week. The new facility is HydroHoist’s sixth factory-owned warehouse.
“Our decision to open an office in Discovery Bay was driven by our commitment to provide superior service to our existing customers and expand into other western territories,” Mick Webber, President and CEO of HydroHoist, said in the release.
In addition, Scott Mortensen, owner of Fat Cat Sales, has joined HydroHoist as regional manager. Fat Cat Sales, the oldest authorized HydroHoist dealer, has worked with HydroHoist since Fat Cat was started in 1973 by Scott’s father Gerry.
“We are very happy to have Scott join us in the capacity of Regional Manager, and we are excited to extend our warehouse operations to the west coast,” said Scott Mauldin, director of Warehouse Operations. “Along with Scott, we welcome aboard Patti Fine as the Sales Coordinator for the new California warehouse. Patti was already working with Scott as his office manager. It is a huge benefit to be able to start a new operation with an experienced team already in place.”
