Twitter service launched for Boating Industry Top 100 Dealer applicants

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – No one knows the time and effort that many of Boating Industry’s Top 100 Dealer applicants put into their applications better than the magazine’s editors, who also serve as the program’s evaluators. That’s why those same editors have launched www.twitter.com/Top100Dealers.

This service allows those dealer applicants who sign up to receive application tips seven days a week from now until the Top 100 Application deadline on July 24. In addition, Boating Industry magazine will use this Twitter service to provide updates on the Top 100 Dealer program year-round.

“In a year like this, Boating Industry magazine’s editors are more committed to providing industry solutions than ever before,” said BI Editor-In-Chief Matt Gruhn. “The Top 100 Dealer program was created not only to recognize marine dealer excellence, but also to drive industry growth and improvement through a sharing of dealer best practices, and there has never been a time of greater need for such practices than today. We believe this new Twitter service will make the Top 100 application process more efficient and effective for those dealerships that choose to apply, thus contributing to the program’s success in this, its fifth year.”

This new service also gives followers a quick and easy way to communicate with Boating Industry’s editors, asking questions or sharing comments on the Top 100 Application process.

“The editorial team at Boating Industry is dedicated to adopting new technologies that allow it to better serve its readers and the entire recreational marine business,” said Liz Walz, BI senior editor. “This new Twitter service is a prime example of that dedication, as are the several online initiatives we’ve unveiled in recent weeks.”
