Lakeside Marine opens new office
PORT CLINTON, Ohio – Boating industry veteran Bill White has agreed to work with Lakeside Marine in opening a new sales office at the Yacht Basin Marina in Holland, Mich., the company reported in a release this week.
The office will represent Maritimo Yachts, the Australian line of luxury boats from 48 feet to 72 feet and offer pre-owned Tiara Yachts, Pursuit and Boston Whaler fishing boats, as well as a full line of select pre-owned brands, according to the company. Yacht Basin Marina will also offer full service, storage and dockage facilities.
White served for many years as manager of Eldean Shipyard in Holland, Mich., followed by lengthy experience as a sales representative for Boston Whaler and later Tiara Yachts, the company reported.
Lakeside Marine wrote it has seen “voids appearing in the market,” and “is optimistic that growth opportunities exist, even in such troubled times.”
“Needless to say, we are very excited with this new opportunity,” said Lakeside Marine President/CEO Lowell Joy, “and look forward to being able to broaden the specialized services Lakeside Marine Group offers.”
