WARREN, R.I. — The American Boat Builders and Repairers Association and Bennett Brothers Yachts are hosting a free regional roundtable discussion on June 8, ABBRA reported in a release today. The regional roundtable will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bennett Brothers Yachts in Wilmington, N.C., and is open to both ABBRA members and non-members.
The discussion aims to give marinas, boatyards, and boat building and repair businesses a chance to discuss common problems and solutions within the marine industry, according to the association.
"These frank discussions between boatyards and marinas provide excellent networking opportunities and are extremely valuable for working toward solving common issues," ABBRA said.
The issues discussed at the roundtable will be determined by the participants and can include boatyard economics, managing busy season workloads, training employees and new yard technologies.
