IMBC organizers tweak 2010 schedule
WARREN, R.I. — The International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) — produced by the Association of Marina Industries (AMI) and the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA) — has released the schedule-at-a-glance for next year’s conference, scheduled for Jan. 27–29, 2010, at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Fla., organizers reported in a recent statement.
The 2010 schedule of events closely mimics the flow of the 2009 conference in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., according to organizers.
“Participants will be able to attend more than a dozen educational seminars and networking events while still having time to visit the exhibition floor and talk with over 120 industry vendors,” said Kayce Florio, IMBC’s co-coordinator.
In contrast with previous years, the field trip will take now place on the opening day of the conference and the Industry Awards will be given out at an evening reception on Friday, Jan. 29. The entire schedule is available to download and view via IMBC’s Web site: www.marinaassociation.org/imbc.
