AMTECH, iboats.com launch professional installers program

SALT LAKE CITY — Through a new joint venture, iboats.com will now direct its visitors to the services of the Association of Marine Technicians, a recent release from AMTECH reported.

The companies say the new Professional Installers Program will benefit iboats, AMTECH and to customers, particularly those who don’t live near full service repair facilities.

“Recreational boating enthusiasts will be introduced to AMTECH and their network of service professionals who live nearest to those boaters through the tens of millions of visits that iboats.com receives each year from every kind of boater,” said iboats co-founder and CEO Bruno Vassel III in the release. “This service will help boaters to find highly qualified marine product installers who live in their areas, and who can help these boaters with both the installation of new products, as well as repairs to their boats and motors. This will be especially helpful to the many boaters who do not live near full service facilities, yet need installation and repair services to keep them on the water.”

AMTECH President Joe De Marco says the program will aid his organization in several ways.
