MAATS relocating to Orlando

CHICAGO — The 2009 Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show will relocate to Orlando, Fla., from Las Vegas, Nev., where it was held for eight years, according to a release from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the show’s owner and producer. MAATS will partner with the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades to co-locate within the Orange County Convention Center, July 15-17.

“Orlando is a natural fit for MAATS not only for its proximity to so many marine and outdoor retailers but also because of the strong boating community that stretches throughout the city,” said Ben Wold, NMMA executive vice president.

MAATS will include a variety of events, including a Welcome Reception and Awards Presentation, Buyer-Supplier Meetings, New Product Previews and S.T.E.P. Purchasing Meetings.

Exhibit space is still available for this year’s show. To reserve a booth, contact sales manager Joanne Miller at 312-946-6245 or jmiller@nmma.org. For more information on Buyer-Supplier Meetings or New Product Introductions, contact Melissa Gurniewicz at mgurnie@nmma.org.

Interested suppliers and buyers may visit www.maats.net for more information.
