Foreclosure ruling made against Florida marina

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Regions Bank has won a $13 million foreclosure judgment against the owner of Pier Seventeen Marina and Yacht Club, a Fort Lauderdale yacht storage project, which will now be put up for public sale, the South Florida Business Journal reported in a recent story.

The Birmingham, Ala.-based bank won the judgment against New Orleans-based Pier Seventeen Marina and Yacht Club and managing member Earl E. Weber Jr. in Broward County Circuit Court on Jan. 13. The developer consented to the judgment, the Business Journal reported.

Pier Seventeen had planned to build a dockominium with 55-foot-high covered slips for yachts up to 155 feet long. The site is set for public sale on April 14, according to the story.
