Skipper Bud’s buys Wis. dealership
MILWAUKEE – Skipper Bud’s, the Midwest’s largest boat dealer, has purchased the assets of Heckel’s Marine, located in Eagle River, Wis., Skipper Bud’s reported in a release this week.
Skipper Bud’s acquired Heckel’s Eagle River property, all boats and all parts and accessories in a court ordered auction that took place Jan. 22.
“We saw an opportunity to purchase many boats under the current market value and we are in position to pass those savings on to our customers in the Midwest,” said Skipper Bud’s President, Mike Pretasky, Jr.
Skipper Bud’s is considering several options for the Eagle River real estate and is moving quickly on inventory distribution of all boats to stores in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Skipper Bud’s has 20 locations, many throughout the Midwest – in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio – but also has locations in Mississippi, Arizona and Florida.
