Northstar unveils promotion
ACTON, Mass. – Northstar, a marine navigation system manufacturer, is offering a $250 dealer installation credit combined with a $500 consumer rebate on its Northstar 8000i, it reported in a recent statement. The limited time offer is available on purchases between Jan. 1 and March 31.
The 8000i, designed to be a one-stop solution for navigation and entertainment, offers a chartplotter, depth sounder, video and network camera monitor, DVD/CD player, music jukebox, instrument repeater and a fuel/engine management system, according to Northstar. It also provides MARPA radar, updated language support, video recording and expanded connectivity, display of phantom Loran-C coordinates, weather, enhanced chart support, tracks management and overall improved performance, the company reported.
The promotion is available to authorized Northstar dealers in the United States and Canada. The Northstar brand is wholly owned by Navico, Inc., a privately held, international marine electronics firm, which serves as the parent company to the B&G,
Eagle, Lowrance, Northstar and Simrad brands.
