Hacker Boat Co. to expand production facilities

SILVER BAY, N.Y. – Hacker Boat Company Inc., has acquired a 32,000-square-foot production facility in Ticonderoga, N.Y., and will expand its production facilities, the company said in a recent release.

The company now has five locations including two new acquisitions in Hague, N.Y. Its Decker Hill location offers inside and outside boat storage on nine acres. The other acquisition, Kings Boat Works, offers inside and outside boat storage and a marine service repair facility. The other two locations are the main Hacker Boat Company boatbuilding facility located on the shores of Lake George in Silver Bay, N.Y. and the downtown Ticonderoga, N.Y. facility responsible for all boat restoration services.

New sales manager
Hacker Boat Company also reported that it had hired Daniel Gilman as its new sales manager.

“With over 30 years of nautical experience on Lake George and coastal New Jersey, Dan brings his passion for classic wood boating to his new position and his commitment to excellence in customer service,” the company wrote.
