CWR Electronics reports sales increase
BAYVILLE, N.J. – Two promotions launched by CWR Electronics, a distributor of marine, outdoor, and consumer recreational products, resulted in November sales increases that are expected to enhance fourth quarter earnings, the company reported in a recent statement.
For the first promotion, CWR partnered with UPS to offer free UPS Ground freight from Nov. 1 to 21.
“This provided some much needed relief to dealers from rising shipping costs and helped them jump-start sales for the upcoming holiday season,” according to CWR.
In combination with the free freight offer, the distributor held a Super Sales Event for the month of November. Savings of up to 20 percent on select products from Garmin, Lowrance, Eagle, Raymarine, Ocean LED, Mustang Survival, and Icom helped drive sales to new levels and generated a significant number of new customers, the company reported.
