New vertical advertising network launched

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – What its creators are calling the industry’s first online vertical advertising network for marine advertisers and Web site publishers will be formally introduced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

A Connecticut couple with experience in marine print and online publishing has launched the Marine Advertising Network, according to a press release yesterday.

Through their company, Niche Net Partners, LLC, the husband-and-wife team of Sean and Katie O’Leary publish Center Console Angler magazine and operate two marine Web sites, boatdigest.com and centerconsoleangler.com.

“We have designed the Marine Advertising Network to represent Web sites across the entire marine market spectrum from power boats to sail boats, sport fishing to superyachts,” Sean O’Leary said. “Our goal is to connect marine advertisers and marine Web sites, delivering unmatched advertising exposure for advertisers to hundreds of thousands of consumers and more online ad revenue to web site owners.”

MADN places advertisements on marine-related Web sites to try and maximize an advertiser’s exposure. Advertisers see results immediately so they can control their expenditures and adjust advertising campaigns, according to the release.
