Skeeter completes new warehouse facility

KILGORE, Texas — Skeeter Products, Inc., completed the third and final phase of a capital expansion program by wrapping up construction on a new 25,000-square-foot warehouse, the company said in a recent statement. The program has also produced a new research and development center and a mold storage facility.

The new warehouse, located at the company’s Kilgore manufacturing plant, will house offices as well as adjustable racking systems and multiple truck docks to accommodate shipping and receiving. The facility will allow Skeeter to store its raw materials in one centralized location.

“This will increase our efficiency, providing a more streamlined approach to the unloading of materials, and then transferring these materials to the production line. We’ve also included extra capacity for future products, and we continue to develop additional product lines for specific niche markets,” said Mike Taylor, Skeeter’s vice president of operations.
