Coast Distribution takes its show online

MORGAN HILL, Calif. – Coast Distribution has unveiled its new DirectSUCCESS Dealer Advantage Program, designed to take the benefits of a distributor show to the dealership, the company reported in a recent statement.

The program offers a package of brands, products, and financial incentives designed to deliver enhanced profits and cost savings directly to the dealer, according to the distributor.

“Dealers tell us loud and clear that in today’s economic environment they need our help to stay competitive,” said Jim Musbach, president of Coast. “Many dealers want to take advantage of show discounts, but have not been able to attend because of retail show conflicts.”

“Our supplier partners ask if the distributor show format has run its course – is there a more cost effective and direct way to deliver exciting new products, marketing support, financial incentive, and more to our dealers? We listened,” Musbach added. “So while our show has been a success for 20 years, we decided to advance to something better – a program that replaces the cost and inconvenience of attending the show with a much more powerful lineup of new products, additional discounts, and incentives.”

Through the www.coastdistribution.com Web site, dealers can access new product information, check out vendor opportunities, see special product flyers and promotions, review program benefits, dating, plan-o-grams, and product order forms.

Central to the program is the new Supplier Showcase, where participating suppliers can show their products any way they prefer, from PDF brochures to animation, and full video.

“Imagine a vendor being able to show off their products when they are at their best, in their preferred setting, without interruption, and to a much bigger group of dealers” said Musbach. “In addition to being more effective, when the long-term cost savings are passed on to the dealer, everyone benefits.”
