DEHCO to consolidate business units
ELKHART, Ind. – Elkhart, Indiana-based DEHCO Inc. is consolidating all of its business units and TriStar Distributing, the electronics division of DEHCO, will officially become DEHCO Electronics, the company said in a recent release.
The name transition is expected to be completed by early 2009, according to Tom Nagy, president.
TriStar, which supplies electronic and specialty products to the recreational vehicle, conversion, limousine, marine and spa industries, has been a division of DEHCO since 1999.
“The consolidation is a result of streamlining the electronics, manufacturing, building and decor, and commercial divisions of DEHCO,” said Nagy. “DEHCO is a name that more accurately reflects the transformation of our business in recent years. We are a brand-driven company focused on supplying the products our customers need and want. It unifies our companies for better efficiencies.”
Besides DEHCO Electronics, the other divisions under the DEHCO umbrella include Building Products and Decor (formerly Cast Products, Colormetric and KIB) and Commercial. Each division serves niche markets with diverse product lines.
“All of these companies remain an important part of DEHCO,” added Nagy. “Using the name of DEHCO will in no way limit or constrict us from growing in any direction in the future. All of our employees and locations will remain the same as we continue to increase the visibility of the company with customers.”
