IMBC forms 2009 field trip agenda
WARREN, R.I. — The International Marina and Boatyard Conference recently completed the agenda for its annual field trip. The event will tour three marinas in southeast Florida – The Port Condominium, Harbour Towne Marina and Pelican Harbor Marina – and conclude with a social and networking event sponsored by Miami Dade Parks and Recreation, according to organizers.
The day of activities costs $95, which includes lunch and dinner as well as the evening social, entertainment and drinks, a tour of the Seabird Station Rehab Facility and a catamaran ride.
IMBC is being held Jan. 25 through 28 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The field trip will depart from one of IMBC’s host hotels, The Embassy Suites, at 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 28. Buses will return, stopping at both IMBC hotels, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
